Morgan was born on July 2, 1989 to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. She and her sisters Jeni and Jeri were raised in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan played a variety of sports as a child, but only began to play soccer at the age of 14. After graduating from high school, Morgan joined Cypress Elite's team. They took home the Coast Soccer League Under-16 championship and came in third place in the under-19 bracket. Morgan was able to continue to improve her soccer skills while at Diamond Bar High School. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has selected Morgan to be an All-American Athlete. She also participated in the Olympic Development Program's state and regional divisions.
